The commission scripture that the Lord revealed when he divinely appointed this radio ministry is found in the Book of the Isaiah, Chapter 62. Let us look at some points of this mission statement:

  • Isaiah 62:6-7
      Be a perpetual voice.

“I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give him no rest…”

Through this and subsequent radio stations on the network, the word of Faith will go forth 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Isaiah 62:7
Establish God’s people in who they are in Christ.

  • “Till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem (the church) a praise in the earth.”

Through the bringing forth of the “five fold ministry”, the body of Christ will be established and perfected in the faith. The ministry of the word of Faith will be the emphasis of KJBN. Music will be for worship- not entertainment, and must be consistent with the word of God, and the character and purpose of this station.

  • Isaiah 62:10:
Deliver God’s people from bondage, take them into
      new horizons (pioneer spirit).
  • “Make the way plain and straight- lift up a standard of excellence, righteousness, and holiness. “Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.”

This and subsequent stations will bring about a “new spiritual order” that will deliver the people from the bondages of tradition, poverty, darkness, etc, to a new standard of overcoming, victorious living.

  • Isaiah 62:12
      Restore families and cities.
  • “And they shall call them, the holy people, the redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, sought out, a city not forsaken.”

Restoration of family values, personal virtue, integrity, and self-esteem are key aspects of our mission. We will also emphasize the restoration of righteous authority and the rebuilding of our cities and communities.
